Saw the cutouts for the new sidewalk at Clarendon circle, really awesome. Much much warmer than Monday.

It was well below freezing tonight and there was a good wind so it felt even colder. But I ran without hat or gloves and that was OK, though barely so.

The trail towards Custis wasn't plowed so that slowed me down quite a bit. There were much fewer runners than last week though there was a group of very fast runners that passed me, one wearing a Boston Marathon jacket.

It wasn't too cold tonight so while I was careful anyway, I didn't encounter any black ice on my right tonight. Still no watch, haha.

After yesterday's snow storm the schools were closed today and I worked from home. I ran at 6.45 pm. There was black ice behind our house, so I knew to be careful. Things went well, a good run.

Awesome run. Second time I ran from the YMCA Woodmont but this time I had a much better route. The Custis trail is for my people. Saw at least 3 groups of runners.

I worked from home today for the new door installation, and managed to get a nice run in before it was fully dark. Very tired in the evening.

When I was on the Custis trail a man on a Capital Bikeshare Plus was clearly lost. Big guy, big beard. "I want to Washington DC", he said, so I pointed him in the right direction. "Is that where 34th St is?" he then asked and I said yes, in general that's right but it's a bit of a ride. No problem.

Saw Aaron on my way back.

Was a great run, the longest one in 2019 so far.
